What is Lally and Abet Beach Cottages like?
Lally and Abet Beach Cottages is located in El Nido town. It has 35 rooms (20 of which are airconditioned rooms, while others are fan rooms). In its almost 20 years of existence, it is one of the well-established resorts in El Nido and is one of the very few resorts accredited by the Department of Tourism (DOT) in El Nido, Palawan.We are located at the beachfront of El Nido town. We have beachfront and non-beachfront accommodations. Those occupying non-beachfront rooms need not worry that they are missing out on the view since all our accommodations are within 15-40 steps to the beach. Also, the highlight of everyone’s visit to El Nido is the different islands, and Lally and Abet has its own boats to take our guests to these different islands every day. -
What activities can be enjoyed in El Nido?
The highlight of any vacation to El Nido is the island tours, which already includes snorkeling and kayaking. Lally and Abet has its own boats that take guests to the different islands, as well as kayaks and snorkeling equipment that can be taken to these tours.

Does the resort have a restaurant?
Yes, the resort has its own restaurant that caters exclusively to its guests. Whether you avail of the daily room rate or the daily package rate, breakfast is already included with your accommodation. In addition, daily package rates also include lunch and dinner. If you have special needs (vegetarians or other special diets) or requests, you can always approach any of the staff and they will always try as best as they can to accommodate your requests. -
Do your showers have warm water?
All of our rooms, excluding the Grand Cottage rooms have warm and cold shower in their private toilet and bath. However, please understand that the hot shower is dependent on the pressure of water. Also, it may take some time for the heater to warm up so please be patient. -
Does the resort have 24-hour electricity?
The entire town has electricity only during certain periods of the day (Generally, 2pm to 6am). However, during peak season, we use a generator, therefore, there is electricity until 8am. -
Do your rooms have television?
Although being in El Nido generally means taking time to bond with nature, we understand that some guests sometimes need television for their entertainment. There is a television in the restaurant and guests are always welcome to watch television there. There are also rooms that have televisions. -
What is your accepted mode of payment?
Payments can be made in Peso, Euro or US Dollar.
Payments and reservation deposits can be deposited in our bank accounts. Foreign guests can also do bank transfers. We have a peso bank account and a dollar bank account for the convenience of our guests. Please be advised that the guests are the ones who will shoulder the bank transfer fees both here and abroad. We will only deduct whatever the amount we receive here.
We also accept credit card payments (Visa and Mastercard) but please note that there is a 6% bank charge to that.

Are there banks in El Nido?
There are no banks in El Nido, that is why we advise our guests to bring enough cash with them. For those who do not wish to carry that much cash with them, we advise that you settle your balances before your arrival in El Nido. Since our package rates basically almost includes all the expenses that you will incur in our place, you can bring just enough cash for souvenirs and for trying out the other restaurants and bars in El Nido town.
Also, we accept Visa and Mastercard in our resort for any additional expenses you may have.

Is malaria a big concern for El Nido visitors?
Malaria has generally not been a big concern for tourists as there has been no reported cases for the past couple of years. However, we do advise our guests to apply mosquito repellants, more for their convenience than for their health concerns. -
Is there internet access and phone access in El Nido?
Yes, we have wi-fi available in the restaurant and some areas in the vicinity. This is available free of charge.
Communication in El Nido town basically is by mobile phone. Please note that only Smart and Globe Telecom are the only Philippine network providers that have signal in El Nido. Most foreigners bringing their cellular phones and are on international roaming can also get signal in El Nido. In case of emergency, you can ask the house manager where you can gain access to a telephone.
